This past week, the Utah School Superintendents Association (USSA) gathered for their annual conference in Midway. The conference focused on the accomplishments of the 2023-2024 school year and allowed superintendents to learn more about the Dignity Index, advocacy, school safety, and AI. Superintendents throughout the state presented best practices to their peers. During the retirement and recognition dinner, USSA recognized superintendents for their years of service to the students and schools of Utah. USSA celebrated leaders with five to nine years of service, ten to fourteen years of serve, and twenty plus years of service. Collectively, those recognized had 282 years of service as education leaders in the state of Utah.
